Refund policy

Return Policy

  • 7-day return period to return or exchange most new unopened item(s) with your original receipt.
  • Returned items will be subject to a 15% or $2.95 which is greater restocking fee. (Restocking fee covers the cost of sales fees that we are unable to recoup from a refund). 
  • All book, magazine, DVD, calendar, etc. sales are final.
  • All gift cards sales are final.
  • The returned item(s) must include the original unopened box, instructions, manuals, etc., shipped items must be returned in the original shipping box, include packing materials and have the Return Authorization Number written on the outside of the shipping box.
  • Fusion Scale Hobbies is not responsible for manufacturer defects. Defects including but not limited to, missing parts, paint quality, paint color, scratch marks, glue marks, imperfections, stop running for any reason, etc. Products with these issues and others should be returned to the manufacturer since they are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
  • Any item(s) purchased more than 7 days past the original date of purchase are non returnable. 
  • Customer must email us at info@fusionscalehobbies.com to be issued a Return Authorization Number.
  • We will not accept any altered items for returns or exchanges.
  • Fusion Scale Hobbies is not responsible for damage due to user error. 
  • Replacements, exchanges and/or credits will be shipped / processed once we receive the returned item(s). Please allow up to 4 weeks for your refund to be processed.
  • Any returned items received without an approved Return Authorization Number will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender.
  • If a package is damaged or lost, please contact the shipper's customer service department for further assistance.
  • Fusion Scale Hobbies reserves the right to approve or deny a request to return for refund or replacement.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We will not be held responsible for misuse or damage from improper use. Please ensure you are responsible with your models. If damage upon arrival appears to be due to the molders handling, we may not accept a return. If a return is granted, the buyer may be responsible for return shipping; we will also not be able to refund the original cost of shipping if deemed to be customer damage.

Defective 

If you believe there is a problem with a model or other product. Products are covered by a manufactures warranty. Please reach out to the manufacture for service, support, repair or replacement. They will be best suited to help resolve any problems that may arise. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like consumables; this includes but is not limited to, model paints, glues, paint thinner, paint stripper, pigments, putty and other similar supplies. We also cannot accept returns for used items or sale items. Please also note the original cost of shipping is nonrefundable, nor will Fusion Scale Hobbies be responsible for return sipping. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. We also cannot accept returns for used items or sale items or gift cards.

The following brands including but not limited to the list below are not returnable and must be returned to the manufacture for repair, service or replacement. 

  • Squadron Products (Tools, Paints, Books and more)
  • Xuron Tools

Refused Delivery
If a package is refused and returned to Fusion Scale Hobbies, any fees due on the package upon delivery to us will be deducted from the refund amount. Should the fees exceed the refund amount no refund will be issued, the item will be considered abandoned and sold to try and recover the fees. The refund will also be subject to a 25% restocking fee. 

Damaged Returns
If a package is returned to Fusion Scale Hobbies and the product is damaged ether from return shipping or from the customer, a refund will not be issued. A customer can email our sales department a shipping label if they would like the damaged product returned to them. If the customer does not claim the damaged product, Fusion Scale Hobbies will dispose of the damaged product as they see fit. 

Incorrect Address
Fusion Scale Hobbies is not liable for incorrect addresses entered at checkout. Please ensure you verify your information at checkout before submitting your order. 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Multiple Orders
Fusion Scale Hobbies is unable to combine, modify or add to orders after they have been placed. Prior to finalizing your order, review your shopping cart to assure you have ordered the correct scale, quantity, etc.

Cancelations
We do not accept order cancelations at any time. We strive to fulfill orders as fast as possible, canceling orders will slow our fulfillment times.

In the event we are able to cancel an order, we will issue a store credit for the order value. Should a refund be desired a 15% or $2.95 whichever is greater cancelation fee will apply.

Out of Stock
In the event Fusion Scale Hobbies inventory is off and a product is ordered and we are unable to fulfill the item, we will issue a refund for the item that is not shippable. Other items in the order will still ship. 

Military Model Supply is operated by Fusion Scale Hobbies, Fusion Scale Hobbies and Military Model Supply are used interchangeably, customers must contact Fusion Scale Hobbies at info@fusionscalehobbies.com for return related questions, customers must also supply the Military Model Supply order number when contacting us.
